As normal school operations are impacted by Covid-19 pandemic around the globe, schools need to transform the way they execute routine activities. Teacher – parent meetings is one of them. Due to social distancing measures and school closures, it has been a hassle to organize and hold a parent meeting.
K12NET now added an enhancement on its Calendar module to answer the need. The new calendar event types ‘Teacher Appointment’ and ‘Office Hour’ enables teachers to directly organize parental meetings and also announce their available times. Parents are able to see a teacher’s available times on their portal and can easily book a meeting.
On top of that, for each meeting, an online meeting link can be assigned. In case there already exists a meeting that belongs to the teacher, that link is automatically carried to the meeting.
Needless to say, parents also receive mobile notifications about their teacher meetings.
