Schools can now launch their online store which contains all the major functionalities you can expect from an online shopping site. Categories can be created, attributes of the products as in gender, grade level, color, size, height, weight, etc. can be entered and tax amount can be set. Moreover, the store is deeply integrated with Warehouse Tracking Module and School Financials Modules of K12NET. Being a part of K12NET, the delivery address of the students is automatically availed and only relevant products according to grade level and gender are presented on the online store.
Parents and students can access the store by simply clicking the relevant icon on their portal, create their carts and check out. For schools where an online payment gateway is integrated, payments can be made on the system. Store officers can see the orders, deduct them from the warehouse and assign a courier tracking number for each order.
With this new update, schools can introduce all books, class material, food services, extracurricular activities, school uniforms on the store and collect orders. This new feature will greatly ease introducing additional school services, managing the warehouse and collecting payments. On parents and students side, they can now instantly view all available items and services provided by the school.
